Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture Dr Mohamed Shainee has been appointed as Acting Minister of Economic Development.
This follows Economic Development Minister Mohamed Saeed’s departure to Beijing, China, to attend the Investment Forum.
The Investment Forum will be attended by over 700 companies from China, Singapore, Australia, India, Sri Lanka, and more; as well as 150 companies from Maldives.
