The President Abdulla Yaameen has appointed Mr. Adam Shareef (Dhafthar No. 2762) as the new Minister of Defence and National Security, and Mr. Moosa Zameer (Nivaidhoshuge, Th.Buruni) as the new Minister for Tourism.
The appointment ceremony was held on Wednesday afternoon at the President’s office, and Oath of Office was stated and signed in the presence of Chief Justice Uz. Abdulla Saeed.
Zameer was also an ex-MP of the parliament Kimbidhoo constituency. Adam Shareef was a state minister of the Education ministry.
