A delegation from the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Investment has arrived in the Maldives on an official visit to explore new avenues for investment cooperation.
The delegation was received early Tuesday at Velana International Airport by the Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives, Yahya Al-Qahtani.
According to a statement from the Saudi embassy, the delegation is led by Sarah Al-Sayed, Deputy Minister of Investment for International Relations, and includes officials from both the Saudi government and private sector.
The visit aims to discuss partnership opportunities and strengthen mechanisms to facilitate mutual investments between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia remains an important development partner for the Maldives, contributing to major infrastructure projects, including the expansion of Velana International Airport.
