Islamic Minister calls for volunteerism for religious acts

Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Ziyad Baqir has urged that all religious acts ought to be carried out without charging for any of the services.
Speaking in a meeting in the Ministry, Dr. Ziyad said that prayers and religious acts ought to be carried out without any charges, unless the person is under employment.
The Minister said that delivering funeral rites was a responsibility of the entire society and that it should be done only for the purpose of serving God.
He added that this was previously done as an act of charity done free of charge, and appealed to revive this tradition.
