Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed has said that Islam can never obliterated from Maldives.
He made the statement speaking in Raajje Miadhu program.
Minister Saeed said that there were many concerned and upset about the way things were run in the nation. He said that most of these people were those pushing for an Islam free Maldives, who will only be satisfied unless Maldives became the opposite.
Minister Saeed said that he closely observed the prejudice and jealousy against Maldives in the recently held ITB Fair. He said that in some cases stalls adjacent to the Maldivian stall will play loud music to deter visitors from entering the Maldivian stall.
He urged all citizens to work in unison to address the challenges facing the economy and assured that hard work will yield the benefits.
