Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Mr. Kobsak Chutikul, has called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dunya Maumoon.
The Meeting was held on 24th November 2015.
At the meeting held at the Foreign Ministry this morning, Foreign Minister Dunya welcomed the Special Envoy of the Thai Foreign Minister and noted the close bilateral relations between the Maldives and Thailand. Minister Dunya also discussed ways to further strengthen the close and cordial relations that exist between the two countries, especially in sectors such as trade and investments.
The Special Envoy expressed Thai Government’s commitment to work with the Government of Maldives in strengthening the relations between the two countries and assured Thailand’s cooperation in the international arena.
Foreign Minister Dunya was accompanied by Dr. Hala Hameed, Ambassador-at-Large, and Dr. Aishath Shehenaz Adam, Additional Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Maldives.
