His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended his deepest condolences to His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, and to the government and people of Türkiye following the tragic crash of a military cargo aircraft.
In a message posted on his official X account, President Dr Muizzu offered his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal paradise and bless their loved ones with patience and strength. He also expressed confidence in the swift and successful outcome of the ongoing search and rescue operations.
He concluded his message by reaffirming the Maldives’ solidarity with the brotherly people of Türkiye during this time of national loss.
