Home Minister of Maldives Umar Naseer have declared that any dispute, if ever existed in the ranks of the security forces, have all been dealt-with.
In a statement given to the state media Public Service Media (PSM) last night, Umar said that any person from the security forces suspected of disputing have been either dismissed, suspended or arrested.
Umar said that the government is taking these steps in order to guarantee the safety and security of the general public.
On the joint press conference by Police and MNDF on Saturday, they mentioned that 7 people were arrested in the presidential speedboat bomb probe, yet refrained from clearing the number of arrests from MNDF.
Captain Ali Ihusaan said that since there is an ongoing investigation, the number of MNDF officers arrested cannot be revealed yet.
